About this Film

American Made

ODEON says...
‘American Made’ is the outrageous true story of the exploits of Barry Seal, a pilot who was unexpectedly recruited by the CIA to run covert operations in Central America.

He started out providing reconnaissance on the growth of communism, but soon found himself in one of the biggest CIA operations in United States history. And he also ended up involved with the Medellin Cartel, the biggest network of cocaine suppliers in the world.

Tom Cruise stars as Seal, a pilot, drug smuggler and money launderer, in ‘American Made’, once again teaming up with Doug Liman, his director for the acclaimed ‘Edge Of Tomorrow’.

Most of the film consisted of Tom Cruise taking off and landing in various aircraft. By far most boring film Ive seen in years.

Liked this mostly, historically accurate film involving the Medellen drug Cartel in Columbia. Tom Cruise played a gullable air pilot and I think it is one of his fines rolls. He certainly hasn't lost his acting ability. Must see it !

i had reservations about spending my hard earned pension on seeing this film but i can honestly say it was money well spent! Tom Cruise portrayal was 1st class and believable the fact that this film is based on a true story adds to the enjoyment
