TRAILER OF THE WEEK

In the vein of Guy Ritchie’s Sherlock Holmes and King Arthur, Lionsgate is coming out with a fast-paced, action-packed take on Robin Hood. Kingsman star Taron Egerton plays Robin Hood, while Jamie Foxx takes on the role of Little John. Fifty Shades star Jamie Dornan is also in the cast, playing Robin's brother Will Scarlet, and Australian comedian Ben Minchin is Friar Tuck.

What may gives a different touch the story, however, is director Otto Bathurst, whose past credits include the very first episode of Black Mirror, the one revolving around the British Prime Minister and a pig, and the first three episodes of Peaky Blinders. Also, the film appears to have long been a top priority for studio Lionsgate, who've been developing the project since 2015. So desperate for Egerton to star, they delayed filming for over a year to accommodate the star's Kingsman schedule, and finally began filming in late 2016.
